I have several friends that are all enjoying Uverse, but unfortunately I live in the East Atlanta "Dead Zone" and it is STILL not available in my area. Does anyone know where I can find the 'expansion time-lines'? I HATE HATE HATE comcast, but as of now it's the only option for cable and internet.

Please let me know if anyone knows if uverse plans on expanding to East Atlanta any time soon.

Ok, just read everything and agreed that the "Jewish" aspect was absurd! My identity will probably be revealed by this; however, I wish to try and remain anynoymous.

Jeff, gave me my start as a nightclub and retsaurant owner in Atlanta...and my nightclub was HUGE...and I could not have done it with out his considerable help!

Jeff, got out of real estate school (at GA State) at a time when banks were lending at an stupifying level and he is a mere example of developers that wre riding high.

To teh gentleman who writes about East Atlanta Village, I attempted to drop about 650K into one of his properties in the Village and was granted the right to do so by the NPU; however, Sherry Dorsy blocked my liquor lis and I lost about 45K as the neighborhood didnt want it!

Now, Jeff is a scrupulious business man, but wanted to see EAV prosper...the neighborhood was my downfall...and I think their disdain for him played a major role in hin just "sitting" on some og his ideas!

my 2 cents worth!

Rookie - you're missing the point. The EDSBS take-off was a tribute to what the blog was before it moved to SB Nation. Or did you not know of it before then?

You must have never worked 33 years as a professional, changed jobs the last 15 of those 33 yers and be terminated after returning from back surgery. I am living in horror, on absolute no money at all, having to use COmmunity Services to pay my utility bills and rent . Have just used the very last cash I could come up with to pay my car payment I purchased this car 5 months before I had no idea that I was going to be terminated after 15 years with no communication, writeups from management or any clue.......I have never been so humiliated in my life. I have not been able to obtain employeement despite numerous applications and interviews. Who wants to hire a 56 year old women obviously when they can hire a 24 year old to do the same job. I was in management and this is how it works. If I hire a 24 yr hold, she can be trainined and probably want stay to retire. If I hire a 56 year old womaan, after 10 years she will retire with benefits.I paid taxes 33 years married and single at about a 28% rate. Now how would your plan be fair to someone like me? I was hard enough to get the food stamps, I have no other income at all.....

Hello there.
Hey, don't worry about not being able to usa the D@home, or with your phone..I am a -qualified for their insurance-, member. So yes i can use all these features.. Which perhaps at one time, maybe like 3 years ago if they would have come out with these features back then, my views would be different.. But just because they have this fancy feature doesn't mean it is worth dealing with USAA... They will eventually freeze your accounts ( and probably will happen when you need the money they most) You also cannot deposit checks @ home or phone drawn from another account you have with another institution... Not kidding...So if you have money somewhere else that you wish to put over to USAA, they will not allow you to do so..That will land your accounts in their review department- which is full of a bunch of morons, that are probably bigger morons than the people who think that it is less risky and cost effective to make non insurance members use the snail mail method..LOL..Yeah..Okay...
Really...You're not missing much....Even if you do a @home with a check, say that is drawn from someone else ( not one of your other accounts) that also, will eventually put your accounts on a freeze..Why???? because USAA has just crumbled....Soo...sad. I have never had anything good to say about their insurance...You get what you pay for...and hope you never hit anyone while you are insured with USAA..Please pray for that victim, because, they will be put through the worst treatment..As of right now, and for the past 5 years, i drive and hope i don't get in a accident that is my fault... ( poor other person, or people) .. Heck even as policy holder you get put through the ringer, if you have to file a claim.. I have been put through such bull filing a claim as a holder, and when someone else hit me who was a holder) Which is why, now that we can afford Amica's higher rates again, we will go back to them for insurance... So all and all...You are so not missing out on this great new thing in this "booming with new ideas" technology age.. Also there are more and more banks everyday launching the deposit at home feature..I know of 4( 1 of them right here where we are stationed)
Keep looking for banks who are putting that in to the services they offer to ALL of their customers...
